You want to come out of the dark place that you’re in. You want to experience freedom. But, you just don’t know the first step to take.
I completely understand and I am no stranger to what it feels like to be in a dark place. From an early age I dealt with having a negative self-image and at the age of 12 is when I believe rejection began to take root. From my teen years until my late twenties, I battled heavily with depression, suicidal thoughts, and low self-esteem. In addition, for many years, even in college, I attended and served in church but I didn’t have a real relationship with the Lord that transformed me.
I wanted to be free but I just didn’t know how to get there. I rehearsed my pain and trauma in conversations and through the way that I viewed myself and my life. The problem was that I was keeping myself bound to a victim mentality. Because of the victim mentality that I had, I searched for love and acceptance through relationships and tried to change myself externally but the problem was that I always found myself still crying out to be free from the negative thoughts. I would wear the mask around everyone but as soon as I was by myself, the lies that the enemy was speaking and my thoughts were still there.
In late 2014 during a separation that later led to divorce, I hit rock bottom and it was in that place that I chose to fight to be free and the Lord made me a promise that He would fight with me.
That's when my wholeness journey began...

He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. - Psalm 40:2
God began filling the voids and my perspective of myself began to change.
I began pursuing the Lord like never before and speaking the Word of God against the lies of the enemy which led to a shift in my perspective of who I was and why I was created.
And now I want to help you get to the same place!

By focusing on becoming whole, I’ve been able to heal from my past and see myself the way God sees me which has helped me to overcome comparison and flourish in who I was created to be and what I was created to do.
